Dec mourning dad

TV star Declan Donnelly is in mourning following the death of his beloved dad.

The funnyman, one half of popular duo Ant and Dec, has been left devastated after his father Alphonso lost his battle with cancer last Friday. He was 78.

Donnelly tells the Daily Mirror, "My dad had lung cancer and was treated at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

"I was with him at the end, with the family. I just want to be with them so we can all be together and to support them through this. It's been a tough summer."
