Del Rey denies postponed tour claims

Pop star Lana Del Rey has denied claims that she postponed a tour in the wake of her much-maligned performance on comedy show Saturday Night Live.

The Video Games singer was said to have shelved a 30-date trek across the U.S. next month, but her spokesman insisted such a tour had never been planned.

The spokesman told Billboard.com that the singer still planned to begin her first full tour in October, as was previously announced.

"There has never been a spring tour announced or cancelled," he said.  "Lana continues to perform in public and on TV."
