Dennis Quaid will work for as long as possible

Dennis Quaid has vowed to continue making movies until he can no longer climb up on a horse without the aid of handlers.

The 58-year-old Great Balls of Fire star admits he no longer feels quite as limber on movie sets these days, but he insists there's a lot of acting left in him.

Quaid tells the Globe, "I will work until they have to put me in a wheelchair and lift me on my horse. I still enjoy it."

And the actor still likes to dabble with his own stunt work: "These days I just show up and see what the stunt guys come up with. I am an athlete, and I still like to have fun with it."
