Dixon denies Holden rift

Alesha Dixon has played down rumours of a rift with her fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden.

It was recently reported that Holden felt frozen out by producers following Dixon's arrival on the TV talent show, but the former Strictly Come Dancing star has hit out at the media over the claims.

She tells the show's official website, "I love Amanda. There were reports over the weekend saying that there is rivalry between us, alongside claims that we're not getting on. This is absolute rubbish and totally untrue.

"We're really close friends and I think she's great. It's always unfair when the press try to pit women against each other. Where's the sisterhood in that?"
