Dixon tipped for X Factor job
She only just started judging Britain's Got Talent but Alesha Dixon has already been tipped to join The X Factor.
After just a few weeks on the BGT panel, Simon Cowell is eyeing Dixon as a possible replacement for Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland, who was reportedly given the X Factor axe due to "diva-like behaviour" last year.
Injecting Dixon into the line-up is sure to cause a stir as it would put the former Mis-Teeq star in direct competition with her ex-bosses at Strictly Come Dancing.
A source tells The Daily Mail, "It's a possibility that Alesha will be asked to be an X Factor judge if her stint on Britain's Got Talent is successful.
"Simon originally wanted Alesha instead of Kelly to join the judging panel last year, but she backed out and decided to stay loyal to Strictly and the BBC.
"In a way, Alesha's better suited to The X Factor because she is in touch with popular music and has had hit singles, as a solo artist and a member of her old band Mis-Teeq."
Cowell has already ruled out bringing back former judges Dannii Minogue, Cheryl Cole and Sharon Osbourne in his hunt for a new star to sit alongside Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.
American Boy hitmaker Estelle has also been added to the music mogul's shortlist.
