Dominic Tighe engaged to Katherine Kingsley

Singer/actor Dominic Tighe is engaged to marry his actress girlfriend Katherine Kingsley.

The former Blake singer, who quit the band in 2009 to concentrate on an acting career, proposed to theatre star Kingsley during a recent vacation in Portugal and they are planning to exchange vows in Somerset over the summer.

Kingsley says, "Dominic proposed on a weekend away in Portugal. He presented me with a triple diamond ring and we will have a white wedding in June in the chapel at (stately home) Babington House in Somerset. We don't want a big showbizy (sic) wedding because we want to relax and enjoy the day. It's all very exciting and I'm madly in love."

The two stars, who met filming a shampoo commercial together, plan to start married life in Los Angeles as they are both trying out for Hollywood roles.

She adds, "I'm so excited. Dom is already in L.A. and I fly out next week for screen tests."
