Duran Duran to lead four nations Olympics concert

Duran Duran will represent England in a four nations concert to celebrate the Olympic Games coming to Britain in the summer.

The pop group will headline the special gig in London's Hyde Park in July to mark the start of the 2012 sporting event.

The concert will feature acts representing all four nations of the United Kingdom - Duran Duran will be England's chosen act, while the Stereophonics will play for Wales, Snow Patrol for Northern Ireland and Paolo Nutini for Scotland.

The gig will take place on 27 July, and a second show, featuring Blur, New Order and The Specials, will mark the closing of the games on 12 August.
