Edward Furlong dropped from movie over latest arrest

Edward Furlong has been axed from his latest movie following his recent arrest on a domestic violence charge.

The Terminator 2: Judgment Day star was taken into custody after allegedly shoving an unnamed woman at a residence in Los Angeles on Sunday.

He was denied bail at a hearing on Tuesday, and he has been dealt another blow after producers behind his new film, Other Plans, decided to let him go.

In a letter to Furlong's rep, obtained by TMZ.com, they state: "Given Edward's current status as being in jail awaiting arraignment on two charges of criminal domestic violence... we are no longer able to engage his services for the film as per our agreement."

Producer Joe Eckardt also tells the website that the project had already "suffered way too long waiting for (Furlong) to be clear of his legal issues." He adds, "It's time to move on now and make our film without him."

Furlong was arrested twice on similar domestic violence charges last year.
