Elizabeth Banks lands Hawaii film festival honour

Actress Elizabeth Banks is set to be honoured at a movie festival in Hawaii next month.

The Hunger Games star will receive the Navigator Award at the 2012 Maui Film Festival, where Banks will attend a special question and answer session at a screening of her upcoming drama People Like Us, according to Eonline.com.

Festival director Barry Rivers says, "Elizabeth Banks embodies the talent, intelligence and charisma that are the touchstones of what the Maui Film Festival looks for in the film artists we honour."
