Emma Bunton's beloved dog found dead

Former Spice Girls star Emma Bunton has been left devastated after her beloved pet dog was found dead.
The singer was walking her Labrador Retriever Phoebe in London on Monday when the pooch ran away.
Bunton took to Twitter.com to urge fans to get in contact if they heard of sightings of the canine and she offered a reward for the pet's safe return.
However, Bunton updated her followers on Wednesday to reveal her pet has met with a tragic end.
She writes, "To all the amazing people who supported us at this horrible time. Our precious phoebe has been found and its (sic) terrible news, we are devastated."
Former Boyzone star Ronan Keating passed on his condolences, tweeting, "I'm so sorry Emma... Just heard."

No sarcasm meant when I say that's terrible. I'd be devastated if it had been my pooch. I'm glad the lumbering fool would never run away - she's far too lazy and goes to pieces even if one of us hides behind a tree in the forest because she thinks she's been abandoned! It is fun to terrorise her in this way occasionally though, and her big face is a picture when she twigs where we are after all (usually same place every time, daft sod!).

We hide from our Jack Russell too, but she doesn't care. She's more interested in trying to catch trout in the stream. Unfortunately, she's no good at it. It's a hell of a blow when they're gone, every one a character.

Ha ha ha @ "doesn't care"! Joke's on you, meanie! I know what you mean about when they're gone. I had my last dog from the age of 13 to 28 and losing him was horrendous. I dread going through that again. Perhaps this one could be immortal, just for my sake!

Funny beasties. makes me want a dog when i hear about other people's. I remember moving house when i was a teenager and when we brought out stupid lab/gs cross to the new house, he ran in and out of every room for over an hour, whining and barking and chasing his tail. He was so excited. like a big daft kid!
