Emma Watson dismisses pink dog criticism

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has taken to Twitter.com to respond to criticism after she was photographed walking a dog whose coat was dyed bright pink.
The actress came under fire from pet lovers who accused her of animal cruelty when she stepped out in London with the bubblegum-coloured canine on Friday.
However, Watson insists the dye job was not her doing, pointing out the pup actually belongs to a pal who is raising money for charity.
In posts on Twitter.com, she writes, "PinkDarcyDog is pink because her owner is raising money for breast cancer. I wish Darcy was my dog but she isn't. Was just walking her... Just to clarify one more time that I don't have a dog. Fact checking takes five minutes."
