Emmerdale dominates TV Choice Awards

Emmerdale won three prizes at the TV Choice Awards on Monday - but Eastenders scooped the coveted Best Soap prize.
The countryside drama bagged Best Soap Actor for Danny Miller, who plays mechanic Aaron Livesy, and Best Soap Newcomer went to Adam Thomas who plays Adam Barton. Miller's acting also won the show another gong - Best Soap Storyline for his character's sexual confusion.
EastEnders was named Best Soap and Lacey Turner, who plays young mum Stacey Branning, won Best Soap Actress.
Coronation Street was also handed a special honorary award to mark its 50th anniversary this year - and the show's stars spoke out about the upcoming live episode.
Veteran William Roache says, "We'll get through. We're used to working in short spurts, so to do an hour live is frightening."
Other winners at the annual awards show included Gavin and Stacey, which took home Best Comedy Show and Doctor Who, which landed Best Family Drama. Britain's Got Talent was named Best Talent Show, while U.S. TV musical Glee landed Best New Drama.
