Erick Morillo hnoured with hometown street naming

DJ Erick Morillo has been feted in his New Jersey hometown with a street named in his honour.

The I Like to Move It hitmaker grew up in Union City, New Jersey and he returned there last week to see the unveiling of a new street sign on a road which has been renamed Erick Morillo Way.

Morillo was joined by his mother for the unveiling and to mark the occasion, he reportedly donated 100 tablet computers to a local school.

The DJ was so thrilled with the honour, he encouraged fans to flock to the site to have their picture taken with the sign and he declared the first five people to send in their photographs would win tickets to his next gig.
