Ex-Lover: Clifford Never Asked For Sex At Work
A former lover and employee of Max Clifford has told a court he never asked her for sex at work.
The woman, who cannot be named, told his trial she had two year affair with the publicist whilst working at their offices decades ago.
The woman said she was hired by the publicist after a very brief interview.
She described the offices on New Bond St in London: "It was a very busy office, and a lot of fun, very informal."
Earlier in the trial the prosecution team described Clifford's personal office as his "own sexual fiefdom".
The former lover said they had visited hotels together but had not had sexual relations at work: "It was never suggested to me and it wouldn't have been something I would have wanted to do."
Prosecutor Rosina Cottage QC asked how the woman reacted when Clifford brought his wife into the offices.
The woman replied: "Clearly I'm not comfortable with the fact that I had a relationship with Max."
She added she had never seen Clifford walk around his offices naked as has also been claimed in the trial.
At the end of her evidence, the woman was asked about the size of Clifford's penis to which she replied: "I can only say that it was normal - it is such a long time ago."
A series of women have accused the celebrity publicist of exposing himself to them, forcing them to commit sex acts on him or indecently assaulting them.
Clifford has vehemently denied the allegations and last week told the jury he believes the women accusing him are "liars" and "fantasists".
He denies 11 charges on indecent assault and his trial at London's Southwark Crown Court continues.
