Furlong hits back at abuse claims

Terminator 2: Judgment Day star Edward Furlong has slammed his estranged wife's allegations he threatened to hire people to beat her "with chains and bats".

Rachael Kneeland, who filed for divorce from Furlong this summer, won a restraining order against the actor after claiming her "unpredictable" ex turned violent during a recent row.

Kneeland claimed Furlong "grabbed me, bruised me, pushed me, made threats of more violence, left messages saying he would hire people to come and beat me with chains and bats" and alleged he "is smoking cocaine and doing other various drugs".

Furlong was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Kneeland.

But the star has spoken out to angrily deny all of her allegations, and is now fighting to have the restraining order revoked.

A statement from his representative, RJ Rousso, says, "Mr. Furlong vehemently denies all allegations that have been made and is currently working with his legal team to have this temporary restraining order extinguished.

"Unfortunately, the two parties are going through a very contentious divorce and custody battle. Eddie's main concern is his son, Ethan, and moving forward with his life. Eddie has been sober for more than five years and is preparing to begin production on a new film."

Furlong has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Kneeland.
