George Michael denies Wham! reunion reports

A representative for George Michael has dismissed rumours he's planning to reform Wham! for a one-off reunion concert.
2012 marks 30 years since the duo - Michael and Andrew Ridgeley - released its first single, and reports this week suggested they were planning to stage a special show to celebrate the anniversary.
But a spokesperson for the Careless Whisper hitmaker, who is releasing a new track in August to mark his three decades in music, is adamant the speculation is untrue.
The star's rep tells DailyMail.co.uk, "I wish I could say it was true but these are just rumours. George is touring on his own and he is releasing an album. Yes, this is a denial."

How can there possibly be a Wham reunion when George Michael had all the talent and Andrew Ridgeley had zero? It would be proposterous! It might stick a million quid in Andrew Ridgeley's bank account, but that's it. Actually, if it does go ahead, why not call it the Andrew Ridgeley benefit concert? At least that would be honest! AR was little more than a comfort blanket for GM at the start of his career, when he didn't quite have the confidence to go it alone. I'm reliably informed from previous contacts that AR couldn't play a single note and needed a session player to record his parts in the studio. Stick to what you're good at Andrew... Whatever that is?
