Gethin Jones: 'Too soon for new romance after Jenkins split'

Gethin Jones is still getting over his split from fiancee Katherine Jenkins, insisting "it's a bit too soon" to be hunting out a new partner.

The TV presenter's engagement to Jenkins came to an end late last year, and Jones is in no hurry to find love again.

He tells The Sun, "There's no romance at the moment. It's a bit too soon for all that. I'm taking it easy. It's nice to say I'm really focusing on work."

But Jones is backing his ex as she competes in America's Dancing With The Stars, and is convinced she'll go on to win the final next week.

He adds, "I've seen Katherine in a few episodes. She's amazing, isn't she? She's a brilliant dancer and I said to her at the start that there's no doubt that she'll go on to win it and they'll love her over there."
