Goffey & Lowe's daughter fractures leg

Former Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey and his wife Pearl Lowe were thrown into a panic on Thursday when their five-year-old daughter fractured her leg in a trampolining accident.

Singer-turned-designer Lowe took little Betty to hospital near the couple's home after the mishap, and doctors put her leg in a cast.

In a post on her Twitter.com blog, Lowe writes, "In A&E (accident and emergency) with my daughter Betty as (she) has fractured her leg on a trampoline, she is now sporting a lovely bright pink cast, so she is quite happy."

After fans on the website flooded her with sympathy notes, she added, "Thank you for all your lovely messages, you are all so sweet, Betty is fine, she's just a bit cross she can't go to ballet for 6 weeks."
