Hairdresser's Husband Charged With Her Murder

A former police officer has been charged with the murder of his wife who was stabbed at her hairdressing salon in Ashford on Monday.

Ivan Esack, 38, is accused of stabbing Natalie Esack, 33, in front of her clients at her hairdressing business, Esack Hair and Beauty.

Mrs Esack opened the business four years ago and had recently separated from her husband, who registered as a football agent after leaving the Kent police force.

A Kent Police spokeswoman said: "A post-mortem examination this afternoon showed that Mrs Esack died of multiple stab wounds."
