The 25-year-old woman died after the Vauxhall Astra she was in collided with a black Seat Leon in Halifax, West Yorkshire, at around 3.30pm on Sunday.

The Astra's male driver, 26, and two child passengers - a girl, seven, and boy, four - were said to be seriously injured and taken to local hospitals.

According to one report, the woman - who was pronounced dead at the scene - was the mother of the injured children.
