Halle Berry's ex booked over Olivier Martinez bust-up

HALLE BERRY's ex Gabriel Aubry has been booked on a battery charge after he was arrested on Thursday over a bust-up with the actress' new fiance OLIVIER MARTINEZ.

Aubry, the father of Berry's daughter Nahla, was held by cops after his Thanksgiving brawl with the French actor at the star's Los Angeles home.

According to reports, Martinez made a citizen's arrest before cops arrived at the scene, and both men were subsequently taken to the emergency room.

Andrew Smith, Commanding Officer of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations and Community Affairs Group, tells People.com that Aubry "was booked for a private persons arrest for battery" once he was released from hospital.

His bail is set at £12,500.

Gabriel is believed to have suffered a broken rib while Martinez injured his hand in the fight, which was allegedly sparked by Berry's ongoing custodial dispute with her ex-partner.
