HIV-Positive Man's Sex Tapes 'Reveal Victims'
An HIV-positive student could have knowingly infected more than 30 unsuspecting partners, Missouri prosecutors fear after finding secret sex videos.
Michael Johnson, 22, has already been charged with having unprotected sex with five partners without telling them that he was HIV-positive.
But prosecutors have now discovered more than 30 videos of Johnson having unprotected sex, according to local media.
They found hidden cameras and examined Johnson's computer.
"On that laptop were 32 videos engaged in sexual acts with Mr Johnson," Tim Lohmar, St. Charles County prosecutor, told local TV KMOV.
Many of the videos appear to have been filmed on the campus of Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, where Johnson was a former student and member of the wrestling team.
"It's safe to say that numerous of those videos were taken inside his dorm room; we know that because we recognise the furniture," Mr Lohmar said.
Authorities are trying to find the people who appear in the video and talk to them.
They believe that Johnson's sexual partners did not know that he had HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, or that they were being filmed.
Authorities are asking that anyone who may have had an intimate relationship with Johnson or may have information about him come forward.
If convicted, Johnson could spend life in prison.
