Hulk Hogan undergoes surgery

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has undergone surgery on his hip and knee after suffering years of wear-and-tear in the ring.

Hogan underwent the operation earlier this week and has filmed a video from his hospital bed to thank fans for their support as he recovers.

In the footage, uploaded to his Twitter.com page, Hogan is seen reclining in a surgery gown as he eats breakfast.

He says, "Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers, like brand new brother. They (surgeons) had to break off a couple of bones in the hip bone, knee bone. I'll keep you posted."
