Man Cleared Of Honeymoon Scuba Murder

A husband has been cleared of killing his wife by turning off her oxygen supply while scuba diving on their honeymoon.
A judge said there was not enough evidence to convict Gabe Watson of murdering his wife Tina.
The defendant had been accused committing the crime while on honeymoon in Queensland, Australia, in October 2003, to get an insurance payout.
But Judge Tommy Nail said: "The only way to convict this man of capital murder is to use speculation and conjecture.
"The state has failed to establish an intentional killing."
Mr Watson's mother collapsed in tears outside of the courtroom after hearing the news.
And his father, David, said: "I am thrilled for Gabe. He can finally begin the healing process."
Mr Watson served 18 months in an Australian jail after pleading guilty to failing to do enough to help his wife during the dive.
He was tried for murder in Alabama in the US because the couple married there.
what do you think?

Mike Drouin
he still did it just not quite enough hard evidence

Stephen Deal
Do you have proof that he did it? If you do then you should hand the evidence over to the police.

Gordon Wright
Mr Drouin, It is all too easy to make accusations, that is why evidence is required to convict. Let us hope for your sake, that no one accuses you of a nasty crime. You may think differently then.........
