Irish Girl 'Missing With Mum' Found After Alert

A three-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Ireland, triggering a nationwide search, has been found safe and well.

A child rescue alert was issued for Saorise Carr, who was last seen at her home in Belturbet, County Cavan.

Police said she was believed to be travelling with her mother, Rachel McDonald Carr, in a blue MG.

Alerts are only issued when there is a reasonable belief a child has been abducted and when there is thought to be an immediate and serious risk to his or her health and welfare.

Information is broadcast on TV and radio stations, as well as roadside signs.
