Isle Of Wight Cliffs Fall: Body Found In Van

A body has been found inside a van which plunged off 100m-high cliffs on the Isle of Wight.
The vehicle ended up in water after falling from Culver Cliffs in the early hours of this morning, shortly after police had received a phone call raising concerns about the safety of a local man.
Photos taken by Darren Toogood of Bright Wight Images showed rescuers' attempts to reach the van, which were hampered by poor weather conditions and the incoming tide.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Detectives are in the process of informing the family of a missing 20-year-old man from Newport.
"The discovery of the body is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
The death follows that of Paul Charles, 53, and his wife Jacqueline, 48, who were killed when they drove their Renault Scenic off the same cliff last year.
An inquest heard the pair had had a "destructive relationship" and the coroner recorded verdicts of suicide.
