Jackie Collins irritated by Lindsay Lohan fan Twitter attack

Author Jackie Collins has taken aim at a Twitter.com follower who criticised her for comments she made about Lindsay Lohan's flop 2012 TV movie Liz & Dick.

The writer was not a fan of the movie, in which Lohan portrayed Dame Elizabeth Taylor, and she made sure her fans knew exactly how she felt.

One follower took offence to what he considered a direct assault on his favourite actress and challenged Collins.

She tells Out magazine, "I got an outraged tweet from some guy going, 'You s**g. How dare you say bad things about Lindsay Lohan.'

"I tweeted him back - usually, I never answer people like that. I said, 'Hey buddy, where's your anger coming from? I love Lindsay Lohan, I just hated the movie.' I thought, you know, 'F**k you!'"
