The charity hit falls to five on the new chart, while will.i.am's Scream & Shout, featuring Britney Spears, Psy's Gangnam Style and Olly Murs' Trouble round out the top five.
And Emeli Sande ends an amazing year, during which she performed at the opening and closing ceremonies of the London Olympics, on top of the album chart.
The Scottish singer's Our Version Of Events is 2012's biggest-selling album in the U.K.
