James Earl Jones appeals for Star Wars return

James Earl Jones is hoping Star Wars villain Darth Vader makes an appearance in the rebooted movie franchise because he "would love to be a part" of the new films.
The sci-fi franchise is set to make a return to the big screen with director J.J. Abrams at the helm, and original Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill, recently confirmed he and co-star Harrison Ford are in talks to reprise their roles.
Jones, who famously provided the voice of Darth Vader in the original trilogy, while bodybuilder/actor David Prowse wore the costume on set, has now insisted he too wants to be included in the cast reunion.
He says, "I would love to be a part of that. David Prowse would return in the costume and I would do the voice for David."

Do we really want Star Wars to make a comeback. I think not. It has had its day so let sleeping dogs lie.

Rubbish, the starwars story didnt finish with the return of the jedi. There is an extended universe that was created through hundreds of novels, cartoons and computer games. There is a whole time line that has been written in that is set thousands of years before Phantom menace. During the old republic when it first kicked off between the sith and the jedi. And unless im mistaken the storyline involving the main characters continues up till about 35-40years after episode 4 when they all have kids who become the new jediorder
