Jerry Hall axed from Strictly Come Dancing

Former supermodel Jerry Hall has waltzed off TV show Strictly Come Dancing after her fancy footwork failed to impress the public.

Sir Mick Jagger's ex-wife left the hit BBC show on Sunday night after finding herself in the bottom two following the audience vote.

After her exit from the series, Hall admitted she was relieved to be free of the gruelling dance training.

She said, "I'm a woman of a certain age and did find the training exhausting, so I am relieved to put my feet up.

"The judges had a very high standard but I did my best and thought my dances looked great - and my body looks so good, it has only done good things for me and my career."

Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, actor Colin Salmon and ex-Westlife singer Nicky Byrne are still in the competition.
