Jessie J suffered a loss in 2011
Pop sensation Jessie J suffered a £20,000 loss last year despite topping charts around the world.
The Price Tag hitmaker enjoyed two Number One singles, her debut album Who You Are was a hit in ten countries, and her track Domino reached the top ten in the US.
But she didn't make a penny from her stellar first year in showbiz as she had to cut back on touring after breaking her foot and also paid off industry debts of £590,000.
Company documents show the singer posted a year-end loss of £20,000 despite raking in £360,000 from her live shows.

Is it just me who hates this americanism of putting "maker" in a word, such as "hitmaker" and "homemaker", just annoys me for some reason, it is so twee.
