Jim Carrey to play real-life bankrobber

Jim Carrey is set to team up with Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess to bring the real-life story of a banker-turned-bankrobber to the big screen.

Reports suggest The Mask star has signed up to lead the cast of Hess' new film Loomis Fargo, inspired by the true story of a disgruntled bank worker who teams up with his crush to rob his employers.

Production on the project is set to begin in April.
