Jodie Marsh set to make U.S. fitness show

Jodie Marsh is considering quitting the U.K. to make a fitness show in America after claiming "the British public don't like me".

The former glamour girl-turned-body builder was furious after she came fourth in a recent British muscle-flexing competition, despite scooping the first-place trophy at a similar contest in the States.

And she's now set to ditch her native country to seek bodybuilding glory in America.

Marsh tells New! magazine, "The people here are so judgemental. I'm constantly trying to make people like me. I've spent 10 years trying to get the British public to like me. They don't take me seriously.

"I think that very thick and very ignorant people think I do it for publicity. You can't get into this kind of state for a publicity stunt. I've been doing it for four years. It's been a long publicity stunt if it is. That's why I'm upset again. America wants me back. The promoter in America wants me to do a TV show and a fitness show with her."
