Jody Latham given suspended jail sentence

TV star Jody Latham has been ordered to stay out of trouble for the next two years or face jail time for growing cannabis.
The actor, who has starred in hit TV comedy Shameless and long-running soap opera EastEnders, was arrested last year after cops found 24 marijuana plants, worth an estimated £14,000, at a home in Lancashire.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of producing the drug during a court hearing in November, and on Monday he was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, suspended for two years.
According to BBC News, the 29 year old held back tears as his punishment was read out by Judge Beverley Lunt, who said, "I hope this will you deter you from offending and make you give up this drug."

It was 12 plants and 9K in the paper... Does anyone else think they just fill in the gaps if the information isn't available?
