Julian Clary eyeing camp sitcom with Julie Goodyear

Celebrity Big Brother champ Julian Clary is in talks to write a sitcom inspired by his friendship with housemate Julie Goodyear.

The camp duo got on famously after becoming close while starring in the Channel Five reality show over the summer and Clary went on to win the contest, beating runner-up Coleen Nolan.

But despite Coronation Street legend Goodyear upsetting fans with her two-faced behaviour in the house, Clary is keen to return to the small screen alongside the star in a new comedy, which would be set in a gay bed-and-breakfast.

He says, "There is talk of a sitcom based in the gay bed and breakfast called the White Swallow, which seems a good idea to me. Julie is very funny and has great comic timing. So I think my people are talking to her people."
