Julianne Hough's jewellery stolen

Actress Julianne Hough was the victim of thieves last Friday when £62,500 worth of jewellery was stolen from her car.

The Footloose star parked her vehicle outside an apartment complex in Los Angeles as she visited a friend but forgot about the valuables in her car.

When she returned to her vehicle, the door was wide open and the interior had been ransacked. Three pieces of expensive jewellery, a gift from her TV presenter boyfriend Ryan Seacrest, were missing.

Police sources tell TMZ.com it is unclear whether Hough left the door unlocked but there were no visible signs of forced entry. Police are investigating the theft.
