'Kind' Bieber Denies Attempted Robbery 'Rumour'
Justin Bieber has told his fans not to "believe rumours" after he was accused of attempted robbery.
The Canadian singer sent a series of tweets after police confirmed they are investigating allegations he tried to take a woman's phone on Monday night.
The 20-year-old wrote: "It is hard to defend myself and my privacy every moment of the day. Then to see rumours. The truth will set u free."
The alleged victim told TMZ the incident happened when she saw Bieber and his entourage playing mini golf in Sherman Oaks Castle Park in California's San Fernando Valley.
She said he grabbed her phone as she tried to take pictures of them.
In the tweets the Baby singer said his mother had "raised me to be kind to others" and that he tries not to react to the harassment he receives.
"I will continue to be the man my mother raised. I love people and I will try to be kind even when things are not fair. Don't believe rumours.
"Thanks for those who stick by me and those that help me grow everyday. I love you," he added.
Bieber is due to go on trial in Miami in July after being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
He was also investigated after allegedly egging a neighbour's home, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
