Justin Bieber Spotted In Panama Beach Resort
Teen idol Justin Bieber has been photographed taking a break on a Panama beach following his arrest in Miami on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drink or drugs.
The Canadian singer and members of his entourage were spotted leaving the beach and heading to a nearby hotel in the country's Punta Chame resort.
The star had spent the last two days lying low in a private hotel in Miami after he was bailed on $2,500 (£1,500) on Friday after a brief court appearance.
The 19-year-old was arrested on Wednesday and charged after police in Miami said they caught him drag racing, allegedly after drinking and smoking marijuana.
He left the boutique hotel shielded behind a bodyguard with his head covered in a red hooded top.
A crowd of screaming fans and photographers swarmed around him as he rushed, head down, into an SUV without making any comment.
Nearly 30,000 people have signed a White House petition for the singer to be deported from the US back to Canada.
The petition needs 100,000 signatures by February 22 to elicit a White House response.
Under the Immigration and Nationality Act, violation of any US or foreign drug law - apart from the possession of a small personal amount of marijuana - is grounds for deportation.
