Kate O'Mara's son found dead

Dynasty star Kate O'Mara has been hit with tragedy after her middle-aged son was found dead in a garage on New Year's Eve.

The body of 48-year-old Dickon Young was discovered by his next-door neighbour in the village of Long Marston in Warwickshire, where he lived with his actress mother.

The former set designer, whose father is actor Jeremy Young, had suffered mental health problems since his involvement in a car accident some years ago, reports the Daily Mail newspaper.

A police spokesperson has confirmed authorities have ruled out suspicious circumstances as they investigate his death.

O'Mara is best known for her role as scheming Caress Morell in Dynasty, and has also starred in TV hits Absolutely Fabulous and Doctor Who.
