Kate Winslet Weds Ned RocknRoll In New York
Kate Winslet's publicist has confirmed the Oscar-winning British actress has married Ned RocknRoll in a private ceremony in New York.
It is the third time the Titanic star, 37, has tied the knot and the wedding was attended by her two children from previous marriages and "a very few friends and family".
Ned RocknRoll, 34, who reportedly changed his name by deed poll from Abel Smith a few years ago, is a nephew of tycoon Sir Richard Branson.
"The couple had been engaged since the summer," Winslet's spokeswoman said in a statement, adding the ceremony took place earlier this month.
It was so secret that even the couple's parents did not know about it, according to The Sun.
Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who co-starred with Winslet in Titanic and Revolutionary Road, gave her away, the newspaper added.
Revolutionary Road was directed by Sam Mendes, whom Winslet wed in 2003 and divorced seven years later.
Her first marriage was to Jim Threapleton, which lasted from 1998 to 2001.
Winslet has been nominated for six Academy Awards and won once for her lead role as Hanna Schmitz in The Reader.
Her other notable performances include playing Iris Murdoch in Iris and Clementine Kruczynski in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
