Katy Perry single again

Pop star Katy Perry is single again after splitting from her rocker boyfriend Robert Ackroyd, according to a U.S. report.

The I Kissed a Girl hitmaker began dating the Florence + the Machine guitarist last month, and the couple first went public with its affection at California's Coachella music festival.

But the pair has now called it quits.

A source tells UsMagazine.com, "It wasn't that serious. It's not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing and they'll talk soon. She's really busy and so is he."

But Perry, who split from comedian Russell Brand last year, didn't have a hard time finding a date to the 2012 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday - she took her 91-year-old grandmother.
