Keith Richards offered drugs to Ronnie Wood's mother-in-law

Rolling Stones star Keith Richards once infuriated Ronnie Wood's mother-in-law by offering her cocaine during a family dinner.

The veteran guitarist was enjoying a vacation in Los Angeles with his bandmate, as well as Wood's then-wife Jo and her mother Rachel, when he ruined a night out by substituting dessert for a big bag of cocaine.

Jo admits her elderly mother wasn't impressed, and she had another run-in with Richards days later when he offered her a marijuana joint during a pool-side sunbathing session.

In her new memoir, Hey Jo, she writes, "Keith handed the joint to mum, who took it between her thumb and forefinger and flung it in the pool. He just sat back and proceeded to roll two more joints. 'Here you go Rachel,' he said, 'Here's one for me to smoke and one for you to throw in the pool.'"
