Kimberley Walsh injures knee during Strictly training
Kimberley Walsh is undergoing painful physio treatment after injuring her knee in rehearsals for this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing.
The Girls Aloud star is suffering from iliotibial band syndrome, an injury well known to regular runners, and has been on the physio's table in a bid to get fit to prepare to dance a salsa on this Saturday's show.
She says, "I've got a little bit of a bad knee which causing me a bit of trouble, but I'm getting physio every day and I'm crossing everything that I'll be able to salsa this weekend, so fingers crossed."
Telling fans about her sessions on Twitter, she writes, "Quick bit of physio on my knee then off to start rehearsals for dance number 5! Another latin dance for me this week..."
