Kristin Davis taking charity trip to Africa with daughter
Actress Kristin Davis is making plans to take her daughter to Africa to accompany her as she campaigns for wildlife conservation.
The Sex and the City star is an outspoken advocate for endangered species, and even adopted an abandoned baby elephant during a visit to Kenya in 2009.
Now Davis is preparing to take her 14-month-old adopted daughter Gemma with her when she returns to do more charity work for The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi, where orphaned wild animals are raised.
She tells the Guardian newspaper, "I figure if I'm going to mess her sleep up it should be for something really good. Kids go to the nursery all the time and they love it. Little elephants are so cute and they play soccer, and they get in the mud."
