Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan reunite after 23 years
Kylie Minogue reunited with her former collaborator Jason Donovan in London on Friday for a performance of their hit duet, 23 years after they last sang together.
The pair took to the stage at the O2 Arena during the Hit Factory Live - Christmas Cracker to celebrate the musical careers of Stock Aitken Waterman, the songwriting and production team responsible for their pop ballad Especially For You.
The duo thrilled the audience with their long-awaited performance, which was complete with racy dance moves.
After the event, Minogue took to her Twitter.com page to tells fans about the duet, tweeting, "The entire audience sang along with us... Especially For You... thanks everyone... amazing," while Donovan added, "Thanks to all those who were there last night! Very special evening... Loved every minute!"
They were joined by 1980s and 1990s pop stars Rick Astley, Bananarama, Steps and Sinitta, who performed a medley of hits before stripping off to hit track Toyboy.
Minogue and Donovan played onscreen lovers during their time on popular Australian TV show Neighbours but the Spinning Around hitmaker quit in 1988 to pursue a music career, followed by Donovan a year later.
The singers teamed up to release Especially For you in 1989 and it became a huge hit record for the pair.
