Lacey Turner goes from Stacey to soldier in new BBC role

Former Eastenders bad girl Lacey Turner is cleaning up her act and heading into the Army in her latest TV role.
The actress, who won huge acclaim for her portrayal of troubled Stacey Branning in the soap, has been one of the few ex-EastEnders stars to win a string of roles after leaving the show.
After turns in supernatural series Bedlam and Switch, Turner is now set to play binge-drinking teen Molly Dawes who joins the forces after a particularly heavy night out in Our Girl, which will air on BBC1 later this year.
The star says, "Molly is such an interesting character who shows such strength and determination."
