Lauren Goodger axed from TOWIE

Lauren Goodger has reportedly been dropped from The Only Way Is Essex after a showdown with producers.

The mouthy brunette kicked off at a boozy TOWIE party on Sunday, accusing TV bosses of treating her badly and even threatening to leave to star in an MTV show with her sisters.

Goodger was said to be fuming after her scenes were delayed while the crew shot footage of her co-stars James 'Arg' Argent, Billi Mucklow and Cara Kilbey, who had participated in the London marathon earlier that day.

A source tells The Sun, "Lauren was screaming at a producer and being a right diva saying the programme treated her appallingly after her scenes kept getting pushed back.

"Bosses were livid as Lauren was already an hour late while the rest of the crew had been there all day filming Arg, Billi and Cara doing the marathon. The producer told Lauren she wouldn't speak to her while she was in that state.

"Lauren then threatened to quit, saying she was the star of the show and would go to MTV where her and her sisters would be the new Kardashians."

Furious execs have now dropped Goodger from her filming commitments this week while they decide her fate.

Another insider adds, "The cast and crew have had enough of the way Lauren is acting.

"They have got to the point where they feel that if she wants to quit she should. Nobody is bigger than the show.

"She is not in Wednesday's episode and until producers meet with her and her representative she is not doing any more."

After the incident, Goodger wrote on Twitter: "Never been so angry in all my life! All I can say is what a shame."
