Lauren Goodger sparks Celebrity Big Brother speculation

The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger has sparked speculation she is to appear on Celebrity Big Brother when the series starts on Wednesday.

Goodger is rumoured to be taking part in the reality show this week along with other stars including former EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison, comedian Julian Carey and Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan.

When asked if she is to set foot in the Big Brother house, Goodger remained secretive, telling OK.co.uk, "I don't know what I can and cannot say but at the minute I'm still in TOWIE."

The reality star's appearance as a housemate will see her follow in the footsteps of her former TOWIE co-stars Amy Childs and Kirk Norcross, who both competed separately in previous series.

Lauren sparked rumours she is set to leave TOWIE this year when she became embroiled in a spat with producers over her alleged lack of professionalism while filming the programme in April. She returned to the programme after a short break.
