Lemon lands ITV1 show

Comedy character Keith Lemon is set to go mainstream with an ITV1 show.

Lemon, a fictional presenter played by Leigh Francis, made a name for himself hosting ITV2's Celebrity Juice, alongside Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton.

He has so far failed to make a successful transition to the top channel after his flop ITV1 pilot Keith Lemon's Bang Tidy Show, but ITV bosses are now giving him another chance.

Production company Talkback Thames is making a pilot of Keith Lemon Kisses It Better, according to The Sun. The programme will aim to help the nation solve its problems, with Lemon becoming a shoulder to cry on.
