Les Miserables spends fourth week atop box office

Oscar-nominated musical Les Miserables continues to see off the competition at the country's box office after enjoying a fourth week as the number one film.

The big screen adaptation of the hit stage show, starring Academy Award contenders Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway, pulled in £2.7 million in ticket sales over the weekend.

Djano Unchained also continued to attract film fans, with profits of £1.6 million, while Denzel Washington's Flight landed in third place with £1.4 million.

Steven Spielberg's Lincoln and Ang Lee's Life of Pi round out the top five with takings of £1. 3 million and £848,000 respectively.
